Falls Prevention for Homecare Workers - Tues 7th Feb

Homecare workers have an opportunity to support people in their own homes and gain CPD hours for registration with this important workshop.

This half day course explores how home care workers can reduce slips, trips and falls in an individual’s home. It will help promote

an understanding of the significance and impact of falls;
the importance of falls prevention;
facilitate participants to be aware of common risk factors associated with falls;
understand their role in falls prevention;
awareness of falls management strategies;

It takes place in UNISON from 10am - 1pm on Tuesday 7th of February.

This will give 3 hours of CPD for home care workers who are NISCC registered.
