Core Skills for Dementia - 19th January

This free one day workshop is aimed at members who are working with or supporting people with dementia. It will be delivered by the Dementia Development Services Centre in UNISON Belfast on 19th Jan

It aims to provide members with an understanding of the clinical condition of dementia, explore a psycho-social approach to people with dementia and to consider the meaning of behaviour that challenges in people with dementia. In addition it will cover the issue of pain management.

The course runs from 10am - 3.30pm and is free to any UNISON member with an interest in the issue. You can book a place online or by phone - information is available here
