As organisations merge and restructure and employers squeeze for efficiencies, it is more crucial to protect member’s rights. Thie TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings & Protection of Employment) aims to give activists and members the information they need to understand their position.

The course will cover

Understanding when TUPE applies
• Using TUPE as part of a negotiating strategy
• TUPE myths and realities
• Building on TUPE with new employers

Key areas for you as an Activist:

• Crafting and communicating TUPE messages to members
• Knowing when to play the TUPE card
• Having the confidence to challenge employers who deny TUPE rights
