UNISON Ulearn Northern Ireland

This course is aimed at social workers and care managers. It will look at the pressures which staff are under and explore strategies for self and peer support.

This course will be delivered by Dugald McCullagh from the Open University and was originally developed for social workers in an English local authority. It will focus on strategies for efficiency and effectiveness in professional practice as well as identifying tools for personal and professional support.

It will run in UNISON Belfast from 10am - 4pm. As part of our Continuing Professional Development programme the course is free to UNISON members and lunch will be provided.
