Technology in ICU Guest Evening Lecture - April 23rd

Intensive Care Units are high technology environments providing a rich source of clinical information on patients. This guest lecture will discuss how information technology is used in hospital acute care setting with particular reference to Intensive Care units.

Good clinical decisions are dependant on having all the relevant clinical information available when and where required. The use of Information Technology in collecting, storing and analysing this data enables clinicians, especially nurses and doctors, to access clear up to date information on patients.

This lecture will look at practice in St James Hospital in Dublin. It is part of our guest lecture series and open to members and non members
