The Developing Roles and Skills of Classroom Assistants workshop will explore issues such as learning theory and its application to the classroom assistant’s role supporting children’s learning.
This one day course will develop understanding of the ways in which teachers teach, the curriculum that guides children’s learning, the activities that children do. The day will introduce approaches that can be used to enhance learning across the whole curriculum.
It will be delivered by Cormac Gallagher, Open University
Cormac works in education and is an Associate Lecturer on the ‘Supoorting Children’s Learning in Primary Schools’ module
