UNISON’s public lecture series continues in January with a focus on physiology and anatomy targeting student nurses but open to all. The lectures will be delivered by Robert McMonagle from the Open University and the topics will link common disorders to nursing practice.
The lectures will tie directly into the Open University Human Biology (SK277) module which is a stand alone course as well as part of the Open University’s nursing programme.
The first lecture takes place on Monday 5th January from 7 - 9pm will focus on anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems.
The second lecture takes place on Wednesday 14th January from 7 - 9pm and will concentrate on the anatomy and physiology of the digestive and the renal systems.
The lectures are open to student nurse members from Open University, Queens University and University of Ulster. The lecture will be interactive and will focus on making the links between the anatomical theory and nursing practice.
Both lectures take place in our Belfast office and there is no fee. Please book a place in advance to accommodate our room arrangements. You can apply online or download an application
