The term ‘person-centred practice’ has recently become a popular mantra in nursing. But what does it actually mean and what are the implications for our work as health care practitioners? Professor Jan Draper, Director of Nursing, Open University will deliver a lecture on the topic from 6.30 - 7.30pm. This is a public lecture and open to all.
This guest lecture explores the whole concept of person-centred practice and draws out the key issues of relevance to all those working with older people across a range of sectors and specialities.
The event is free and takes place in UNISON, Belfast Office. Light refreshments available from 6pm. Please book in advance.
