This is a half day workshop which will look at case studies where care of young people has gone wrong and explore some possible ways forward, focusing on the use of power and authority, and on staff safety.

This is a half day workshop which will look at case studies where care of young people has gone wrong and explore some possible ways forward, focusing on the use of power and authority, and on staff safety.
A chance to explore issues such as
• How can safe care be provided in residential settings?
• What can we learn from the mistakes of the past?
• What skills do practitioners need to develop?
• How can teams best work together?
