This workshop will enable participants to better understand how health issues impact on people differently because of their gender, where they live, what they earn, what age they are. It is recommended for anyone working in community health, as community development workers, social care staff, social workers, community nursing staff.
Pauline Collins from the Open University will facilitate the discussion which aims to stimulate your thinking, challenge pre-conceptions or confirm what you already know. It may be of particular interest to members who have already participated in courses such as Women’s Health & History.
