Due to interest in our Dementia Study Day, we are now running one in Belfast on Tues June 12th and in Omagh on Wednesday June 13th. The programme will include understanding dementia, pain management and challenging behaviour. It is targeted at nursing members, but may be of interest to those working in other disciplines.

This is a full day event and is free, with lunch provided.
Aims
• To provide staff with an understanding of the clinical condition of dementia.
• To understanding a psycho-social approach to people with dementia.
• To consider the meaning of behaviour that challenges in people with dementia and strategies to support people.
• To explore the issue of pain management in people with dementia.
• To identify practical ways to support people with dementia.
