The OU has been awarded additional mental health nurse training places from the DHSSPS. Some adult places are still available. New places are available with Western Trust (T&F & Gransha), Southern HSC Trust (Craigavon/Banbridge) and South Eastern Trust (Down Lisburn), Belfast Trust (South & East). »more
K100 & Essential Skills Recruitment in BCH

UNISON is recruiting participants for the Open University K100 Understanding Health & Social Care and Essential Skills English and Maths courses in Belfast City Hospital. Information sessions will take place on Monday 21st and Wednesday 23rd May. The courses will run start in September. »more
Adult Learner Week Events

UNISON has set up a number of events for Adult Learners Week (19th - 25th May). Along with employers, Open University, EGSA and FE Colleges, we will have a stall in Belfast City Hospital, St. Lukes Armagh, Tyrone County Omagh, Altnagelvin Derry and Erne in Enniskillen. Dementia Study Days - June 12th & 13th

Due to interest in our Dementia Study Day, we are now running one in Belfast on Tues June 12th and in Omagh on Wednesday June 13th. The programme will include understanding dementia, pain management and challenging behaviour. It is targeted at nursing members, but may be of interest to those working in other disciplines. »more
