Residential for Staff in Private Nursing Homes - March 30th - April 1st

This overnight event is targeted at members who work in private nursing homes. It is a chance to find out about what education and lifelong learning opportunities are available to you to support you in your career and personal development. The event will also look at health and safety and your rights in the workplace.
The course will take place in the Wellington Park Hotel, Belfast from 4pm on Friday March 30th finishing at 3pm on Sunday April 1st. It is a great opportunity to get together with people who do similar jobs and share experience and information. The focus will be on learning opportunities and how you can develop your skills such as learninig computers, English and Maths, care related qualifications and team leading. There will also be information on becoming a Union Learning Representative to help others engage with learning.
