Privatisation - Attack On Our Health Service

5 Jan 2007

An increasing number of buildings within the health sector are being partly funded by the private sector, currently in the Ulster Hospital, the Royal Hospital and in Omagh. This can have a huge impact on the terms and conditions of our members, particularly in catering and domestic services. UNISON opposes this threat to privatise these services. Come along to this workshop on January 29th to find out what you can do.

As the PFI Initiative in Northern Ireland develops, we need to ensure our representatives are equipped with the knowledge, skills and confidence to challenge PFI projects in the Health Sector in Northern Ireland and to ensure our members are protected and can stay in the public sector.
