UNISON is holding a series of information sessions for staff working in private nursing homes and for private domicilliary care providers. Even if you work for the private sector, you still have rights under employment law, whether you are a local or a migrant worker. You can also join UNISON without having to inform your employer.
We know that some private sector employers discourage staff from joining a union, however it is your right to join a union and get information and protection in the workplace. UNISON is running evening events across Northern Ireland over the next twelve months where you can come along and find out what we can do for you.
