Open University Introduction Openings Courses

8 Jan 2007

UNISON members can access the Open University short course Openings programme for free. They include topics such as Understanding Children; Understanding Management; Understanding Society and Understanding Health. These courses are ideal for people who have not studied for a long time or are interested in dipping into a topic. The deadline for applications is 19th February.

These are 3-4 month courses, particularly suitable if you work shifts and cannot commit to a regular class, as learning is supported through materials (texts, DVDs, CDs) and phone support. You are awarded 10 credits upon completion.

You can find out more about the content in each course, click on our lifelong learning section of the website.

If you would like to start the course in March, you must register by February 19th.
