Open University Introduction Openings Courses

UNISON members can access the Open University short course Openings programme for free. They include topics such as Understanding Children; Understanding Management; Understanding Society and Understanding Health. These courses are ideal for people who have not studied for a long time or are interested in dipping into a topic. The deadline for applications is 19th February. »more

Privatisation - Attack On Our Health Service

An increasing number of buildings within the health sector are being partly funded by the private sector, currently in the Ulster Hospital, the Royal Hospital and in Omagh. This can have a huge impact on the terms and conditions of our members, particularly in catering and domestic services. UNISON opposes this threat to privatise these services.
