Free OU Places for Trade Union Members

Are you a trade union member and thinking about a University course? If so a new agreement between unionlearn and the Open University will help you.

There are 100 free places on Level 1 courses available to the first 100 people to respond by 8th December 2006

The first 100 eligible entries received before the initiative close date will be offered one free Open University course.
Only one entry per person is permitted. All entries must be on the official OU webform.
The free course must be at Level 1, and be either a 30 or 60 point course that starts before the end of February 2007. Students must be registered before December 22nd 2006.
The initiative is not open to those who have previously studied with the Open University, except for 10 point taster courses. Applicants who have started a course but not completed it are also excluded.
The initiative is not open to any applicant who is currently registered on an OU course (regardless of whether payment has been made).
The initiative is open to applicants who are reserved on a course but have not yet registered.
Any recipient of a free place may not be eligible for financial support from the OU or other funding body.
