Lay Tutor Course - July & September

Would you like to learn skills to basic tutoring skills to deliver workshops and short courses to activists and members and effectively facilitate groups and meetings?
The lay tutors course is targeted at union activists/stewards who want to develop their skills engaging with members. You don’t have to have any educational qualifications, but you do need to be enthusiastic about new methods for getting members involved and organised in your Branch.
The course will look at understanding and using various educational methods, organising workshops and courses, writing and using various educational activities. It will include planning and designing a one day workshop, which can then be assessed for accreditation purposes.
Part 1 takes place July 24th & 25th in Belfast office
Part 2 takes place August 24th & 25th in Belfast office
