OU Taster in Foyle and South & East Belfast Trust

Upcoming Open University taster sessions take place in Foyle (May 30th) and Knockbracken (June 5th) from 1 - 2pm. The events are targeted at nurses, allied health staff, nursing auxiliaries/assistants, health care assistants, student nurses, home care staff, but may be of interest to other staff working in Trusts or private nursing homes.

“Challenging Ideas in Mental Health” is a taster based on the Open University module Challenging Ideas in Mental Health K272 which includes looks at mental health from a holistic perspective which covers five dimensions of the person – social, emotional, physical, psychological and spiritual The session will be delivered by Mary Jo McAteer, OU tutor. The session will run from 1 - 2pm on 30th May in Gransha Clinic Seminar Room.

This same session will be repeated in the Roe Centre in Knockbracken on June 5th from 1 - 2pm for those in the Belfast area.
