Understanding Personal Development Plans (PDPs)

Targeted at: Branch activists in the Health sector
Duration: 1/2 day

Under Agenda for Change, each member of staff will have to complete a Personal Development Plan with a supervisor. The plan assesses which competencies are required to fulfil the roles of the job and moving up the increment ladder will be linked to meeting those competencies.

It is vital that members understand how PDPs work and can attend the meeting with confidence. This training session is aimed at branch officers, stewards and those already active in Agenda for Change to enable them to hold briefing sessions in branches for members. We believe that running these sessions is not only useful for members but also offers recruitment potential.

Information on these courses will be advertised directly to Health Branches.
