Targeted at : Branch officers, stewards and members facing threats of privatisation Duration: 1 day

What you and your Union can gain from the course:

• Effective branch and regional strategies against any threat of privatisation
• Shared understanding of UNISON policy and past successes against privatisation in any form .

Key Areas for you as a Learner:

• Understanding the stages of a privatisation process, and the key interventions to make at each stage
• Making the case against privatisation, and challenging adverse impact on members, services and equalities
• Implementing a consultation agreement for disclosure at each stage
• Negotiating an in-house bid if agreed (or alternative).

Dates:
This course is available on request and by invitation when particular employers appear to be launching privatisation strategies.
