Assertiveness for Men and Women

Targeted at All members
Duration 2 days residential

What you and your Union can gain from the course:

• How to be more assertive in your workplace and at home • Knowing the difference between assertiveness and aggressive behaviour • Acknowledge and being honest with yourself • How to be clear specific and direct in what you say • Keeping calm and sticking to the point

Key areas for you as a Member:

• Know how to communicate better • Understand other peoples body language and adopting appropriate body language to back up your assertion • Respecting the rights of others • Saying no and sticking to it
