As the cuts bite, and standards are compromised, we need to learn how the law can support us in challenging service failures in our practice and delivery. UNISON is committed to supporting its members – this course will show how we will do it.

Key Areas for you as a Learner:

• Understand what the law does to protect those who speak out, and where it may fall down
• Building clear understanding and procedures with employers
• Understanding membersʼ fears and concerns, and effective techniques to support them
• Internal processes within UNISON, and how to seek help and assistance.
• Build confidence to support members seeking to take issues forward
• Help our union develop clear internal procedures and protocols
