Fair employment and Treatment Order - Tackling Religuous and Political Discrimination in the Workplace
While the Fair Employment legislation may have achieved much in reducing blatant discrimination in the workplace, sectarianism often still prevails in subtle forms. Sectarianism is visible and ever present in large areas of our society. These workshops examine the conditions necessary to create a world where we can work and live together. Does an inclusive workplace conatin no flags or everyones flags?
Is it enough to be non-sectarian or do we need to be anti-sectarian? How do we move from 'politeness' to engagement? Should we be putting up or bringing down the walls? Is it just our fault? This course is open to everyone.
