What you and your Union can gain from the course:
• Understanding Equality and Diversity is a course, which aims to explore the dynamics of racism and equality
on an individual and organisational level.
• By the end of the course the participant will have a better understanding of the value of equality and diversity.
• How to identify discrimination and oppression and be equipped with the tools to challenge racism.
• The training will give the participant an opportunity to examine how they interact with others from a diverse
background and the opportunity to examine the organizations they are involved with and how to better ensure equality in policy and practice.
