Duration Half day 10am - 1pm
Service user involvement can take many forms and be demonstrated in many different ways. Essentially it is about making sure that the views of the people who use the services are heard and acted upon in order to make real, sustainable changes. It is about real partnership working based on mutual respect. It is about making a difference.
Participants will get a chance to look at
• principles and the practical engagement of services users
• challenges of service user involvment
• case studies
