Targeted at Student Nurses but open to all
Duration 6.30 - 8pm Evening Lecture
This is the continuing programme of guest lectures which aim to support student nurse members with their studies. However, it may be of interest to other members working in front line care. The lectures aim is to give students a basic understanding of the main principles of how the systems work with an application to nursing practice throughout the lecture. It will tie directly into the Open University Human Biology (SK277) module which is a stand alone course as well as part of the Open University’s nursing programme.
The next two guest lectures will cover the topics of
Monday 10th May – neurological anatomy
Monday 24th May - abnormal neurological physiologies
It will be delivered by Robert McMonagle, Open University
