Raising Awareness of Transgenderism

Targeted at: Health and social care professionals, youthworkers.
Duration: 1 day

Transgender identity is not well understood by many professionals nor the wider public. This seminar will look at a range of sensitive issues which you may encounter as a Health & Social Care Practitioner or Youthworker.

Participants will explore what is meant by

  • Gender Dysphoria
  • Standards of Care
  • Legal Aspects within the Workplace.
