How To Be Professional When the Personal Is Political

Targeted at Any member Duration 1 day

Making sense of sexism, sectarianism, racism, disablism, homophobia and other discriminatory systems is essential for those working as support workers, youth workers, social workers and social care workers, but it’s not necessarily straightforward. If you think you’ve made sense of it, putting it into practice can be even more of a challenge. This experiential day workshop is designed to provide understanding and guidance in this often confusing area.
