The term ‘person-centred practice’ has recently become a popular mantra in nursing. But what does it actually mean and what are the implications for our work as health care practitioners? This guest lecture explores the whole concept of person-centred practice and draws out the key issues of relevance to all those working with older people across a range of sectors and specialities.
