Targeted at: Any member not already holding an O Level/GCSE in English and/or Maths however the computer (ICT) course is open to anyone.
Course Duration : 16weeks x 3hrs
Accreditation :
* Certificate in Essential Skills – literacy (CCEA)
* Certificate in Basic IT Skills (OCN/OCR)
* Certificate in ICT (CCEA)
These courses have been written to support members to improve skills such as literacy, numeracy and ICT. Each course is available from entry level 1 to level 2. Level 2 is comparable to GCSE C grade.
Courses can be run, once we have 8-10 people from the same area, who would like to start.
Members working in Health Trusts may be able to access this course through their employer in partnership with UNISON.
