Targeted at Any member in a supervisory or management role
Duration 1 day
This one day workshop will look at the sensitive topic of dealing with difficult issues, including raising challenging questions and managing difficult conversations. We tend to avoid raising difficult topics instead of having the conversation head-on.
What strategies can make it easier to navigate workplace conversations when the issue is sensitive and the stakes are high? Practice methods for talking about poor performance, interpersonal relationships, annoying personal habits, confidential information or other irksome/wrenching topics.
It will delivered by Rebecca Subar, MPA graduate, Harvard University, Kennedy School of Government
