Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) for School Based Staff
Targeted at : School based members
Duration: 1 day
This course will explore what Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is and what it is not as well as looking at strategies for supporting children in primary schools with ASD, including consideration of Special Educational Needs, understanding the seven characteristics of ASD as well as relevant strategies and considerations of a supporting adult role in the classroom.
It will be delivered by Sharon Beattie.
