This course is part of UNISON’s Continuing Professional Development programme
This workshop will provide information and support for members working with children and young people with ASD
The workshop will cover
• Introduction to Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Main features associated with ASD
• Have an understanding of the impact of ASD and the difficulties encountered by those individuals affected
• Have an awareness of practical strategies to be used in the workplace.
