Targeted at Branch Officers, especially Equality Officers; Activists negotiating at a Trust level; Branch Convenors
Duration 1 day

What you and your Union can gain from the course:

• Looking at negotiating policies on a variety of issues that will lead to better work-life balance for our members
• Looking at pregnancy dismissals dependant leave
• Negotiating an improved dependant leave policy and flexible working requests – indirect sex discriminations.

Key areas for you as an Activist:
• Advising members on how to achieve a proper work-life balance
• Ensuring that Employer’s Policies are publicised
• Ensuring our members rights are protected
• Evaluating the success of these policies and ensuring deficits in any policy are taken to the bargaining table
