Targeted at: Any union activist
Duration: 2 days
What you and your Union can gain from this course:
• Have a definition of stress and how to deal with it
• Understand the causes of stress and its effects on your health
• Be familiar with the legislation concerning stress
• Ensuring you establish a work life balance that takes into account you Trade Union/paid Employment /Home Life
• Identify measures to include a stress reduction programme
• Prepare and implement an action plan to cope with Stress
Key areas for you as a Steward:
• Working collectively on the course to resolve some of the main issues
• Be better equipped to take up these issues on behalf of yourself, your members when you go back to work and in the branch
