* An opportunity to share working practices, successes, and lessons learnt from past activity
* Sharing ideas on how to improve participation in UNISON
* Share good practice in effective ways of recruiting new UNISON members

* Raise awareness of UNISON training opportunities available to our reps
* Develop a consistent approach to representation in UNISON on an individual level and campaigning on a collective level in line with the principles contained in the Representation Guide
How The Course Will Work?
UNISON education aims to help develop confidence and practical skills and to put the knowledge you gain during the course to good effect in your branch and workplace. Most of the time spent on the course will be organised in an active way that gives you an opportunity to participate, as well as share other people’s ideas and experience.
You will be working in small groups sharing your experience. We will discuss together changes we are facing as a region together with the issues that affect our members.
