Targeted at Branch Treasurer Training

What you and your Union can gain from the course:

• To give existing and potential treasurers a realistic idea of the opportunities and difficulties of doing the job
• To provide participants with the tools and techniques they will need to become an effective Treasurer
• To put the work of a Branch Treasurer into a wider context and to show the importance of what they do and why they do it
• To de-mystify the job of Treasurer and to build confidence

Key Areas for you as a Participant:-

• Ensuring proper accounting for the members money
• Preparing financial reports and ensuring the branch books are on the table at every branch meeting
• Key dates in the UNISON diary
