Targeted at: All Branch Secretaries and Convenors in large branches
Duration: 2 days

• Understand the role of a UNISON Branch Secretary
• What skills you need to develop as a Branch Secretary
• How to develop a team approach to Branch Work, planning project management

Key areas for you as a Branch Secretary:
• Identify function and aims of a UNISON Branch
• Identify the responsibilities of the branch secretary as the Branch manager
• Develop your skills and knowledge
• How to deal with issues stewards raise and priority setting
