Duration: 1 day
National Delegate Conference is UNISON's supreme policy making body. Delegates are elected to attend and represent the view of branch members. This course will explain how the conference works and how delegates from Northern Ireland can play an active part. The day will also include a pre-conference delegate meeting.

* How to help you understand the jargon and procedures
* Your role as a branch delegate
* How to write and present a short speech
* Reporting back to the branch
How Will The Course Work?
The course will be delivered with the assistance of the Regional Convenors, looking at the procedures and the role you will play as a delegate from a branch in Northern Ireland
