Ulster Trust offers OU Pre-Reg Nursing Places

Ulster Community & Hospitals Trust has a number of places on the OU Pre-Reg Nursing diploma course. This is a workbased course which enables participants to gain a professional nursing qualification without having to give up your job.

Places are limited to staff on a permanent contract who are working as Nursing Auxiliaries or Health Care Assistants.

Criteria includes
NVQ 2 plus numeracy (GCSE Maths A - C or Numeracy Level 2)
NVQ 3 plus numeracy (GCSE Maths A – C or Numeracy Level 2)
K100 plus numeracy (GCSE Maths A – C or Numeracy Level 2)
5 GCSEs including English and Maths A – C

An information session will take place on September 6th from 2 – 5pm in Kelly House. The Open University will be doing a rolling presentation and you can drop in to find out more. Deadline for applications is 22nd September and applications are available from the Nursing Directorate’s Office at Trust HQ. Interviews will take place on Oct 12th, additional interview days may be added depending on numbers.
