A wide range of part time courses are now available at Belfast Institute and North Down & Ards Colleges of Further Education. Whether you want to improve your career prospectives, learn a new skill or take on a hobby there’s something for you. Some courses such as Essential Skills are free, short courses can start at as little as £4 per class, with concession rates available if you are on benefits including working tax credit or over 60.

Belfast Institute has five campuses - Millfield, Brunswick St, and College St East around the City Centre, Tower Street in East Belfast and Whiterock in West Belfast. In addition BIFHE provides courses in partnership with a range of community organisations throughout Greater Belfast.

Want more information, come along to the “Which Way Now” Info Sessions on Thursday 24th August 2006 (11am-8pm) and Friday 25th August 2006 (11am-2pm) in the Gerald Moag Campus, Millfield. This is a chance to talk directly to tutors to find out more about the courses on offer.
• For courses at any of the 5 main sites, you can enrol now by going in person to the building where the course is held. You can then complete your enrolment process and pay fees (if applicable). An additional enrolment opportunity is available at each of these main sites – Brunswick Street, College Square, Gerald Moag Campus at Millfield, Tower Street and Whiterock – during the ‘open enrolment’ week:
Tuesday 29 August – Thursday 31 August 2006 12.00 (Mid-day) until 7.00 Friday 1 September 2006 12.00 (Mid-day) until 4.00 pm
• Enrolment for part-time community education courses provided in their outcentres is available at all main sites during office hours until 31 August 2006. From Monday 4 September, an additional enrolment opportunity is available at each outcentre.
