UNISON Ulearn Northern Ireland

Royal Hospitals Group has a number of places on the Open University Pre-Reg Adult Nursing diploma course. This is a workbased course which enables participants to gain a professional nursing qualification without having to give up your job.

Places are limited to staff on a permanent contract who are working as a Health Care Support Worker.

Criteria includes
NVQ 2 plus numeracy (GCSE Maths A - C or Numeracy Level 2)
NVQ 3 plus numeracy (GCSE Maths A – C or Numeracy Level 2)
K100 plus numeracy (GCSE Maths A – C or Numeracy Level 2)
5 GCSEs including English and Maths A – C

Information sessions will take place on 1st September, 2 - 4pm Venue TBC. The Open University will be doing a presentation on the programme and you will have a chance to ask questions. Deadline for applications is 27th September and application packs are available at the information session and from Peter O’Reilly, Nursing Administration. Interviews will take place on Oct 23rd.
