SLT Offers OU Pre-Reg Nursing Diploma Places

Sperrin Lakeland Trust has a number of places on the Open University Pre-Reg Adult Nursing diploma course. This is a workbased course which enables participants to gain a professional nursing qualification without having to give up your job.

Places are limited to staff on a permanent contract who are working as a Health Care Support Worker.

Criteria includes
NVQ 2 plus numeracy (GCSE Maths A - C or Numeracy Level 2)
NVQ 3 plus numeracy (GCSE Maths A – C or Numeracy Level 2)
K100 plus numeracy (GCSE Maths A – C or Numeracy Level 2)
5 GCSEs including English and Maths A – C

*Courses which are recognised as equivalent to GCSE English and Maths can be found here

Information sessions will take place on August 29th
9.30am - 12.30pm in the Recreation Hall in the Erne
9.30am - 12.30pm in the Aisling Centre, Darling St., Enniskillen
2 - 5pm in the Seminar Room, Post Grad Centre, Tyrone County
2 - 5pm in the Green Room in the Tyrone & Fermanagh Hospital

The Open University will be doing a presentation on the programme and you will have a chance to ask questions. Deadline for applications is 18th September and application packs are available at the information session and from Larry McGrath’s Office in the Erne. Interviews will take place on Sept 21st.
