Ingage and Women into Politics are running this political dialogue event of the North West Women’s Forum. It will run in the Guild Hall from 9.30am - 3.30pm and aims to engage local women with issues which affect them.
The event will provide women and women’s groups in the North West with the opportunity for dialogue and discussion on key issues affecting the area through morning workshops. The afternoon session’s panellists represent a range of initiatives and perspectives relevant, not only to women in the North West, but also to women nationally, regionally and Europe-wide:
· Joanna Boyd, Women’s Officer, Derry City Council
· May De Silva, Director, Women into Politics
· Felicity Huston, Commissioner for Public Appointments
· Hilary Harbinson, Gender Equality Unit, OFMDFM
· Kate McCullough (or representative), NI Women’s European Platform
The event will also be an opportunity to find out more about the North West Women’s Forum, to set the agenda for the future and to become a member. There is no cost to attend, but you must register your interest by Friday May 26th as places are limited. If you would like to attend this event please contact Amanda Biega, INGAGE, 028 7127 9998 or email engagingwomen@yahoo.co.uk
