Recruiting for K100 Understanding Health & Social Care

22 Mar 2006

UNISON in partnership with BCH will be running the Open University course K100 Understanding Health & Social Care. There are fifteen places available free to members of UNISON who earn below a set household income threshold.

If you do not qualify for a free place you can still apply and if selected do the course in your work time with Study Skills and study release. However, you would have to self fund the course fee of £475 (includes 10% discount as a UNISON member). The Open University allows you to pay fees by direct debit over ten months, which works out approximately £47 per month. For more information on the course check out K100 in the courses section of the website and come along to the information sessions on Wednesday April 26th at 12 - 1pm or 2 - 3pm - Ennis Room, A Floor, BCH.

Information packs will be available after that date from Eleanor Reid (branch education officer) or Edith Hughes, NVQ Co-ordinator, Henry Moore Building Ext 2423.
